Nora had a plan. It would bring her ex-husband, Jose, and the rest of their family together for a magnificent Passover feast. But there is a flaw in her plan- a mysterious photograph from the past, hidden under the bed, which leads Jose to reexamine their relationship and rediscover their undying love for each other.
So refreshing. Great lead actor! So much depth to the story. Thanks for choosing a film with a female director.

Sometimes a film touches a nerve and you can't explain it. On paper it feels small, slight even, yet I'm finding it a hard film to shake.

Interesting meeting of two vastly different and, at times, opposing cultures. Appreciated the witty humor throughout the story. I enjoyed learning about my own Jewish roots without being completely walked through it.

An intimate family portrait and a nice examination of religious rigidity.

Sensitive and perceptive. The pain between husband and mentally-ill wife and their love (as difficult as it was) are beautifully portrayed. Touches the heart and the head.

Beautifully constructed plot. Humor and ethical issues very well integrated. Touching without being sentimental. It grows on me as I think about it.
